during the seven years between 1938 and 1945, 12 million people perished in the holocaust. The same number of animals is killed EVERY 4 HOURS for food in the US alone..
while thematically they do not correlate, what the figure should show to anyone is the grand scale of animal slaughter that occurs in the united states in a given day. it is meant to give perspective on the meat industry.fact

well i think the fact that 12 million animals are killed every 4 hours for food in the US is a striking enough statement without simultaneously (and quite offensively) comparing meat eaters to nazis.
